{"id":3701,"date":"2016-08-15T14:12:44","date_gmt":"2016-08-15T14:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/digm.drexel.edu\/?p=3701"},"modified":"2018-01-18T21:22:19","modified_gmt":"2018-01-18T21:22:19","slug":"junior-full-stack-developer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/philsinatra.net\/branches\/uxid\/2016\/08\/15\/junior-full-stack-developer\/","title":{"rendered":"Junior Full Stack Developer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>POSITION:<\/strong> Junior Full Stack Developer<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>COMPANY:<\/strong> ApotheCom (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apothecom.com\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.apothecom.com<\/a>)<br \/>\n  ApotheCom is a global medical communications agency with offices in San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York, London and Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>LOCATION:<\/strong> Yardley, PA<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in web design\/development, computer engineering, computer science, interaction\/experience design, or related field required.<\/li>\n<li>At least 6-12 months of experience with relevant web development preferably in an agency environment and\/or the healthcare industry.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with modern web development techniques, technologies, and front-end frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS, Vanilla JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with MVC-based JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS\/Ionic, Backbone.js, React, Polymer)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with sever-side languages and platforms (PHP, Node.js, Sails.js, ColdFusion) and web database technologies (mySQL, MongoDB, JSON\/BSON)<\/li>\n<li>Experience using development tools, package managers, and task-runners (npm, grunt, gulp, bower, composer, yeoman, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity developing native apps for iOS &amp; Android devices. Exposure to Objective-C, Swift, XCode and\/or Java, XML, Eclipse\/Android Studio a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Confidence working across the Adobe Creative Suite of design tools, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in both Windows &amp; Mac OSX operating system environments, Unix\/Linux experience a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of best practices and direct experience with formal software engineering principles (OOP, code design &amp; architecture, reusability, DRY principles, testing).<\/li>\n<li>A strong portfolio of work including any relevant examples of front end design\/development, back-end development and deployment, or other appropriate application design.<\/li>\n<li>A strong attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and work in fast-paced start-up like agency environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <strong>DUTIES:<\/strong><br \/>\n  The candidate will be expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the complete lifecycle of a modern web\/interactive experience\u2014from initial conception and ideation, through defining specifications, design, wire-framing, development, testing, deployment, and support.<\/li>\n<li>Develop responsive, front-end layouts from design composites, employing proper web standards with a focus on usability and accessibility for a variety of platforms and devices.<\/li>\n<li>Help architect and develop back-end, server-side applications for small to medium-scale deployment on the web with a consideration for best-practices in data integrity and security.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to interpret style guides and parlay individual design elements into larger web design layouts and brand strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicate to clients and other teams within the organization regarding development status, strategy, design implementation, and medical\/scientific content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <strong>COMPENSATION:<\/strong> Competitive salary and full-time benefits based on qualifications and experience<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>HOW TO APPLY:<\/strong> E-Mail resume and portfolio link to Lee Dash (DIGM \u201908) at <a href=\"mailto:lee.dash@apothecom.com\">lee.dash@apothecom.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POSITION: Junior Full Stack Developer COMPANY: ApotheCom (http:\/\/www.apothecom.com) ApotheCom is a global medical communications agency with offices in San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York, London and Singapore.
